I read ohdeedoh every day, several times a day. I LOVE that website. I find almost all of my newest obsessions there. They often have give away contests–all you need to do is enter a comment, and they will select the winner at random. I enter all of them, and this time I won! Check out Peanut’s latest, totally awesome toy–the Small Paul Log Rocker by Paul Frank:
I love the monkeys and polka dots!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Now, if she would just learn to use the thing instead of playing with it, we could be a litter box-free household.
Kirby is mostly deaf. We didn’t know this about him when we picked him out at the shelter. It doesn’t matter much. My only worry is that he doesn’t hear when I call him if he sneaks out of the apartment. He hears some sounds, but not others.
Examples of sounds he doesn’t hear: voices, banging pots together behind his head, shaking of the treat can.
Examples of sounds he does hear: clapping, clicking and apparently guitar plinks.
Please forgive the strange proportions of the video. I originally filmed it in portrait position. Apparently youtube doesn’t like that.
Here’s a close up of Peanut’s profile. Her nose is pretty clear. She definitely takes after her parents.
This sonogram experience was really awesome. I could feel her move and see what she was doing on the screen. She was waving her fists, putting her feet in her mouth and licking her arm. All very cute for now, but I hope she outgrows those habits before she gets to kindergarten.
As soon as the stamps arrive, I’ll get the invitations in the mail.
The shower is on April 12th at 1:00 p.m. at Cafe Royale.
I love this mural!
Mafe Maria wrote about her process in great detail. It’s such a great idea. When we finally get in to the bigger apartment, I’d like to tackle a similar project. She found the art on iStockPhoto, which I discovered recently when I was designing the baby shower invitations. It’s a great site and the prices for the artwork are very reasonable.
I’m going to poke around a bit before I make my final decision, but so far, I am totally loving this image:
